Call for IBIS related patent disclosures: - None Review of previous meeting minutes: Minutes from the 25 OCT 2022 meetings were reviewed. Randy Wolff moved to approve the minutes. Weston Beal seconded. Without objection the minutes were approved. Call for opens: - None AR review: - Michael Mirmak to respond to Atul's request for DLL for Platform issue. Remains open - Bob will forward the email from Michael to Atul to see if the description is sufficient to reproduce the DLL platform problem. Remains open - Weston Beal work on inserting power aware rules into the Quality Specification. Remains open - Weston Beal check ibischk7 V7.1.1 for relevant power aware checks. Remains open New ARs: Discussion: Release 2 of ibischk 7.1.1 is uploaded on the IBIS web site, labeled 1 and 2. BUG228 and BUG238 are updated in release 2. Release 1 was essentially a beta version. Release 2 should be the final version for release to the members. The BUG228 error text is more clear. It produces 2 error messages even though there is actually one error to correct in the IBS file. It is better to keep this non-ideal output than to go through another change to the parser development. Mic Scheader suggested a more logical organization of the QA test cases. We will consider a change with the next version of the parser. This type of change might require more extensive changes in automated tests. This needs to be investigated. Bob plans to submit a motion to the IBIS open forum to accept the current parser development. BUG227 is defered to later parser work. It is related to a BIRD, so Bob proposed that we link the bug to the BIRD for development of the parser. Weston proposed that we start the contracting process for development of tschk2 immediately after the contract for ibischk7.2. This will get the bug fixes for tschk in the queue to avoid letting the development languish. Quality Specification and checklist power aware discussion: No discussion. The next steps depend on actions from Weston. Tabled topics (no discussion without motion): - None Lance moved to adjourn. Weston seconded. Without objection the meeting ended. Meeting ended: 12:33 pm ET Next meeting 22 NOV 2022
